Over one-hundred pupils from primary schools across Telford and Wrekin participated in a Golfway Festival, hosted at Telford College.
The event, in conjunction with Telford & Wrekin School Sports Partnership, introduced children to a competitive, fun and supervised golfing environment.
The pupils entered the tournament in mixed-gender teams and completed a circuit of golf-related skills and challenges, designed for young people who do not play golf regularly.
Students from Telford College helped to host and run the event, which took place at the Wellington campus on 17th May 2023.
Nick Horrocks, Director of Business Development at Golfway, said "We would like to thank Alice Lowe (The Golf Foundation) and Jason Jones (Telford College) for organising this event.
We're always pleased to see coaching taking place using our Golfway Play equipment, and we hope that the primary school pupils and college students had a great time playing golf.
