Junior golfers from across the continent participated in the Hill Valley Junior Open; a European Junior Golf Tour event sponsored by Golfway, held at MacDonald Hill Valley in Shropshire, UK.
The tournament saw 35 juniors compete in challenging weather conditions, including strong winds and hail. The sun reappeared as play came to a close on Easter Monday, allowing participants to enjoy the final few holes before attending an awards presentation with their families.
The winning participants from each age category were rewarded with an invitation to the Miguel Angel Jiminez Championship, held at La Cala de Mijas golf resort, Málaga, Spain. The 3-day Championship will run on 23/24 October 2023 and will welcome participants from around the world.
Attendees were appreciative of tour ambassador Joanne Morley, former LPGA player and two-time Ladies European Tour champion, who hosted and scored the event.
