Golfway Announces Partnership With European Junior Golf Tour

Published on 5th Apr 2023

Golfway is delighted to announce a partnership with the European Junior Golf Tour (EJGT).

The EJGT is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing a series of junior tournaments in Europe, particularly the UK, and has been established since 2000.

Based out of Pryors Hayes Golf Club in Cheshire, the EJGT aims to assist and educate young players, helping them to achieve their maximum potential and fulfil their personal aspirations. The tournament series aims to create a fun, friendly and stimulating environment for participants and their families.

The partnership between Golfway and EJGT will help to foster young talent and provide the necessary resources for the sport to grow at the grassroots level. This partnership will enable EJGT to continue to offer a platform for junior players to participate in tournament experiences. Golfway equipment will feature at the tournaments with chipping and putting challenges for attendees.

Roger Shutt, EJGT Founder said "Golfway work closely with the R&A, the Golf Foundation and other junior golf programmes around the world. The Golfway grassroots coaching initiatives perfectly integrate with our mandate of providing a series of golf tournaments for young children in the UK and mainland Europe.

Nick Horrocks, Director of Business Development at Golfway said "We are delighted to become the title sponsor of The European Junior Golf Tour and look forward to working closely on projects in the future. Roger has done a fantastic job at providing a platform for junior golfers and we are excited to work together to provide accessible tournament opportunities for young people."
